Biden revealed to the CNN reporter when he believes it would be appropriate to announce a run for president, and why he is more likely to run than not. The vice president also told Bolduan that he is confident about Democrats’ chances ahead of the 2014 midterms because a specific majority of Americans agree with President Barack Obama“on every major issue.” [...]

Biden was elected to the US Senate in November 1972. For the past 41 years, his version of reality has been that of a member of the proverbial 1%, with news of the outside world mostly filtered to him through his staff and financial donors. He ran for President twice in that time and on both occasions the public's general response was to either ignore him, or try-not-to-laugh at him. Yet he clearly feels that a third go-'round would be a good idea. Forty-one years in the bubble is a long time, and in a way it's kind of amazing that he's not even more oblivious than he is.

Better idea: SNL should have a "Biden character" in the cast. In certain skits, fake-Biden's dialogue could be things that the real-Biden has actually said in public speeches. ("Dey gonna put yawl in CHAAIINNSS!!")

They're scared of the backlash they'd get too, likely moreso than the audit.

If Biden were President, maybe "Iron my shirt" Killary as VP, she could plot her Caesar ascension. Would make great theater.

What's funny is that obama picked biden to be his running mate back in 2008 to bring gravitas to the ticket.
