Personally, I don’t see the Big East getting 4 in. Creighton and Nova are locks, but I don’t see Providence and Xavier both getting in, I think it will be one or the other.

Providence is 16 – 7 and 6 – 4 in conference. They are .500 on the road this season and have games left at Xavier, GTown, Butler, Seton Hall, and Creighton. At best they go 2 and 3 in that stretch beating Butler and Seton Hall (SHU at home is no gimmie). They are 11-2 at home with games left with DePaul, Nova and Marquette. Say they go 2-1 at home they finish at best 20-11 and 10-8 in conference.

Xavier is 15-7 and 5-4 in conference. They have home games against Providence, DePaul, Creighton, and Nova. They finish that stretch 2-2 at best. Xavier is under .500 on the road and have games left at Butler, Marquette, G’Town, St Johns, and Seton Hall. They finish that stretch at 2-3 at best and finish the season at 19-12 and 9-9 in conference.

Baring some major upsets or a deep run in the Big East Tournament I just don’t see both making the NCAA.

I just dont get Lunardi's obsession with trying to add any p5 team without a losing record. No way the acc should get six. The sec should only get kentucky, florida, maybe lsu. No matter how many loses tenn piles up he has never taken them off his board. The big east only get 3 and possibly 2 if things break bad, even cbs sports halftime crew called the big east a flop and without creighton coud've been in danger of being a 1 bif league

SMU is in as an 11 seed without a play-in game.

I think résumés are similar and UConn' signature win (Florida) is much better than Memphis' (Louisville). Besides, one seed number in early February doesn't mater one iota.

But Okie State has taken a nosedive recently. If UCONN had those 2 wins, I'd think the win at Louisville was the better given this point of the season.

They had to kick one of their top subs off the team this week after a 2nd arrest and they've lost 3 straight and 4 of 5. The win over them was impressive at the time but if they don't get it together I doubt the committee will give the victory the credence it had when the game took place. Tiger fans should be rooting for them to improve their 7th place standing in the Big 12.

Guys I meant UConn and Memphis were under seeded. I am not pitting Memphis against UConn.
