"Spin Day"
Hogs will likely finish 30+ in the recruiting rankings and near the bottom of the SEC. So let the spin begin- "We filled our needs", "Brandon Burlsworth was a walk-on", "Jerry Rice played in the SWAC", "A lot of 5 stars don't pan out", "A lot of 2 stars end up playing in the NFL", "The recruiting experts don't know jack", "We signed only high character guys", "Arkansas kids are always underranked", "We signed some sleepers", etc. Yes, it will be a fun day.

Almost thought you were talking about our recruiting. Sounds like stuff our coaches have been saying over and over for most years. You know, "sleepers, Fish played here and in the NBA, we filled our needs, we signed high character guys, and the recruiters don't know jack." We can't get locals because the "Arkansas kids are always underranked" and because we normally can't get Arkansas kids.

We can't use the "Arkansas kids are always underranked" because we normally can't get Arkansas kids.

"Coach speak" is part of the business. What I quoted is what I expect to hear from the local media. I understand coaches have to this.

RE: "Spin Day"
The definition of a "need filling class" is "We didn't sign any of the guys we wanted, so we're going to make it sound like we didn't need them.
