Well the Cajuns aren't that great of a team, but how is UTA's past record against UL working for you now?

I will give Georgia State all the props in the world. And, I think that they have an amazing team. I also think Hunter and Harrow are great. BUt, you know this isn't even remotely close to being true right.

I can't think of any midmajor backcourt duo that is better than Hunter and Harrow.

I don't disagree with that. But, that's not what the OP said. Believe me, if anyone knows how good Hunter is, it's Cajun fans.

Not likely. Zero quality wins and a couple bad losses including a very bad loss to FIU are tough to overcome.

We're getting a little love in the College Insider Poll as we're at #12 - http://www.collegeinsider.com/mens-mid-major-top-25.php
3 teams ahead of us Indiana State, New Mexico State and Ohio all lost this week but as we know Mid-Majors (also not a fan of the term as it's a way to marginalize the general population from the good old boy schools) don't get the same respect at the rest of the universe.
We should move up but in my opinion only the top 4/5 on the list in the link will be in the AP Top 25.
Either way, we can only worry about what we can control and hope everyone in the Sun Belts continues to improve to validate our conference.
Go Panthers!

It's interesting that a WKU fan says that we don't have any quality win when they consider themselves a high-major. \
But, he is right. We don't have any quality wins. Our back court struggled mightily in the beginning because the Harrow and D. White combo didn't work well for White because he was used to having the ball in his hands. He was initially moved the off-guard. But, Coach moved him back to being the main ball handler and 15 out of 16 (including 14 straight) wins happened. But, more importantly, I'm more concerned with making the Big Dance.

I think the quiet might be better, makes it easier to be a trap game for 1st round opponent, they will be looking at 2nd round not seeing the formidable opponent at hand

I highly doubt that. Read this quote below.
Quote:Question: Has coach Hunter been any different during the current winning streak?
Answer from PG Devonte White: Not too much different, He’s been basically the same -- still out of control. He has always been out of control. (He said this while laughing) I’m just joking. His preparation for every game is like we’re playing in a championship game. The players might not think much of a team, but he’s going to scout it like we’re playing the Miami Heat. We’re preparing like we’re playing the conference championship game every game. We may not see it that way, but he’s going to make us see it that way.

Only twice from my knowledge. Haven't been in over a decade. Coach Hunter has totally changed the loser culture of the old gsu and everyone is a believer.
