It was an ugly win but a big one. We have such a resilient team. Rick never takes credit for our late game heroics but i think it is a testament to the type of players/men he recruits and his unwillingness to compromise character for athleticism. Great publicity for our program tonight and we now have a pretty comfortable lead in the east.

I didn't get to watch this one as I am currently in Massachusetts, but I listened to the game on the internet and it sounded ugly. Like you, I'll take the win.

I hope there is no let down going into the Tech game Saturday. I'll be back in Tennessee and plan to take my family to the game in Cookeville.

Unreal win. I can't believe they came back. It was ugly to watch at times, ESPECIALLY the first 10 minutes from us.

The whole game though, we battled and chipped away. That was a tough matchup with Morehead's size(killed us on offensive boards last night) and their home court sounded very loud(Places always seem to get "better" crowds when Belmont comes to town).

JJ Mann and Bradshaw both his separate huge shots throughout the 2nd half. We never gave up. Great, great win, and now you have to feel confident that we will win the East.

Wow. One whale of a comeback. Morehead was fortunate that they had a bad shooter hit some really big shots to keep them ahead. We were fortunate that they played with poor poise for a brief stretch.

Anyone know why Drew Kelly opted for Morehead? He always seemed like a good fit for Belmont, and he would have been a big help. Local kid who seemed like a fit for us. Good player.

I don't know this for sure, but heard his dad was a HS football coach in the Morehead area. He certainly would have thrived in Coach Byrd's system.
