Look, all I know is they are going to have a hard time proving discrimination, since in one of the quotes the parents mention McGarigle says he didn't know about their sons disability. Which is weird because McGarigle was a part of Cubit's staff...

There's a guy on mLive comments section of the article with some pretty good legal insight about damages and the type that he's filed in his complaint.

Anybody can sue anybody, its irrelevant and has no impact on the program. At any given time the university is dealing with 4-5 suits.
