UC @ UL on Thursday
It's a biggie biggie for the conference race. Again, it's refreshing to actually give a damn about a conference game not involving the Tigers.

I think the best case is for UL to win out every game from here on out except games against Memphis. That way we'll have 3 wins over them, and they'll still be a top 10 team.

Yeah, lots. I've seen Louisville play lots too. Louisville is the much better team.

Louisville is going to win. Cincy can't go forever without losing, they aren't undefeated good. "Biggie Biggie" I like that, that is Dana talk. 03-lmfao

I prefer Cincy to win, and UL to fall down, so we can at least climb over UL for a higher seed in the conference tourney.

Agree that UL is better, but "thrashing" them might be tough, b/c of their good D and slow, grinding style. Nobody has done that yet.

OTOH, Cincy might be missing Justin Jackson for the UL game.

We hold the tiebreaker against UL (at this point at least). A win by Cincy puts them further ahead and likely to get the #1 seed.

Yeah, a not-so-great Xavier team laid the lumber to them, via 3 pt shooting. I can see Louisville doing that to them again, especially with Jackson's ankle injury.

If UCONN gains ground and makes a push for a top four seed with Cin/Lou/Mem, then it will be a tough second round game. Home court should help.

I think we just want to avoid Louisville in the semis. Cincy and UConn will be a tough out in their own right, though.

I believe we will win the conf. tournament, I truly do. To me every team should want to avoid us on our floor. Now you could tell me well cincy and UConn both beat us, true, I just don't see it happening again. We should win on our floor. Huge advantage for us.

RE: UC @ UL on Thursday
Louisville and Cincy have two games against each other. Hope they split. Memphis should be no worse than a 3 seed in the tournament, which is fine. Although UConn looked impressive against the Tigers, they'll probably be the 4th seed (unless, of course SMU is better than I think). If the brackets chalk out, Memphis likely would play Louisville in the semifinal game. All this changes, of course, if Memphis somehow climbs over Cincy, Louisville and SMU. Do-able, but not likely. It might boil down who who stays health the longest and who has the deeper bench. I think Memphis has be better bench and has avoided the injury bug so far.
