Wish I could be there for gameday.

Happily I'll be in town that week and will be at the Gonzaga and UCF games.

But I'm coaching my son's team in the morning 450 miles away, so I'll just be rolling in for game time.

it better be. you can only count on about 35 students to show up at the games these days, much less get to the forum at 8am on a saturday morning.

Exactly what I'm afraid will happen that early. It should be students, but it will probably people 30+ in age.

To be honest, I can understand why students don't make the games.

1. The arena is not on campus. They can't just roll out of bed and walk to the arena.
2. Not all of them have cars.
3. Our public transportation is awful. If they could take a well scheduled bus or train downtown attendance would be better. By the way, does the school charter buses from campus to the games? If so, all of excuses are moot.

That is BS. We all made it there at the Coliseum and the pyramid. We aren't talking about a 30 minute drive and nothing to do on Beale. The students live 15 minutes away.

Most students don't stay on campus that would imply they do have cars...But I assume you are talking about traditional students.

I don't know the true make up of the student body, but I assume quite a few live on, or very near campus. Honestly, it is a shame they must have cars to get around this place.

Typically a commuter school.

When classes are over they scatter to the 4 corners.

Yes, there are buses available to students that take them to and from the forum.

Student section (in terms of numbers) wasn't terrible Sunday. Still need a lot more and definitely a lot more enthusiasm from them. Thank goodness for the pep band!
