RE: Standings after Week 3 of CUSA play/ Week 4 games
New projected standings for the top half after the weekend games:
rpiforecast.com:
1) LT 14-2
2) USM 13-3
3) UTEP 11-5
4) Tulsa, ODU 10-6
6) MT, Charlotte 9-7
8) UAB 8-8
warrennolan.com:
1) USM 14-2
2) LT 13-3
3) UTEP 12-4
4) Tulsa 11-5
5) MT, Charlotte, ODU 10-6
8) UAB 9-7
We need to post a 8-3 record down the stretch to even have a shot at the double-bye at this point. The good news is that I believe the road win could be a good spark for the team, with 4 very winnable games up next, and then a big game at home vs USM after that.

Yep. We need to win these two home games, and sweep the F_U's without a doubt. Hopefully we can take care of business, and Southern Miss will still be catchable when they come to town.(although they only have a few loseable games left) The good news is we still play most of the teams ahead of us. Top 4 is looking mighty difficult at this point, but one more injury at UTEP could change that team, and everybody can't continue to have 1 or 2 conference losses.

I'd be really surprised if the winner of the regular season had less than 3 losses. We just need to TCB at this point. La Tech still has ODU, UTEP, and us on the road. Southern Miss is in the best position to walk away with 3 or less loses. 6/10 of their remaining games are at home. The magic will run out for UTEP. I expect them to have at least 4 loses.
