La Tech
They're legit. What a great addition to our conference. They're a team that doesn't let a bad team play it close. They'll blow your butt out.

I wasn't comparing them to us. I just wanted to spur conversation about a new member.

RE: La Tech
La Tech is legit this year. They're not always that good, but they're usually decent anyway. Charlotte, ODU, and WKU will also prove to be really good additions. MTSU isn't bad either. CUSA is going to be pretty deep.
Too bad we lost Memphis and are losing Tulsa. I was fine losing Houston, ECU, Tulane, and UCF, but a league with UAB, Memphis, Tulsa, UTEP, Charlotte, ODU, WKU, MTSU, La Tech, Southern Miss would have been really fun in basketball.

RE: La Tech
If we can continue to win, and they do as well, our marketing department should be all over this. UAB could take some pointers from So Miss and La Tech. Their Twitter accounts are active and their athletic departments are always coming up with good ideas.

RE: La Tech
La Tech is favored in all of their remaining regular season conference games. Their two toughest remaining games are at UTEP and at UAB.
Likewise, USM is favored in all their remaining games.

I'm starting to despise both teams.

One key to USM is their player Neil Watson. He hasn't missed a free throw in 5 weeks, current streak of 44 consecutive free throws.

He is 82-87 for the season, which doesn't include their two non-D1 games, for 94.3%. It appears he didn't shoot any free throws in those two games.
