Maybe the media should frenzy on the reason why Del Rio left as well as why that 5 star player decided to commit to USC over Alabama instead.

Think any might get "hurt feelings" during spring practice as the staff tries to hurry up to get Coker ready to go? Several are frosh or soph standing next year. One QB commit from CA has already switched to USC.

My guess is that there is an Alabama message board where people who know and care about such things talk about them.

Do you really think UAB has a shot at landing any QB who was good enough to go to Bama? Sometimes I wonder if we even live on the same planet.
What makes you think that he was thinking about UAB. He was just rambling about his favorite team

True. I was trying to draw a connection, which was my mistake. It's too early on a Monday I guess.

Are you asking if there is a possibility that one of the QBs will transfer to UAB? If so, no.

I suspect we may have 2 or 3 recruits come in this coming weekend that may not be a part of our current commits or those that have been previously mentioned.

Just a guess.

Well even if there was one who wanted to transfer to us, do you think "they'd" let it happen?

There are 5 or 6 QBs there and a highly regarded transfer just announced. I don' t know any of those kids nor do I know where they might want to go if any may want to move.

If we had been asked before the fact if any Bama BB player would WANT to come to UAB, many might have presumed a negative answer - but one did.

As to whether the AD or the BOT would allow them that choice is not something UAB can do anything about. The BOT is however piling up an ugly picture of behavioral "Body of Work" towards UAB athletics and may want to take a different tack, if only for the sake of appearances.

My brother-in-law just got me another scoop. You heard it here first. There will be no Alabama quarterbacks on UAB's roster this year.

Did your brother in law make a similar guarantee for the 2015 or 2016 seasons (since any transfer would have to "sit out" a year)?
