One play in this game in particular sums up his problem right now... 3 on 1 break, he has Joe on his right and Pellom on his left, at about the 3p line, he passes to a post player instead of the PG. I think he is still adjusting to the faster college game. He has potential to be great when he figures it out though.

I noticed Iverson looked very hesitate on some of his passing plus we made some turrible passes trying to force the ball inside . It should improve but if it doesnt we will pay the price against better teams .

Crashed the offensive boards like a champ though. I am more and more impressed with his ability to rebound.

Iverson still looks like he hasn't grown into his body yet.

King and Iverson are going to be huge for us next year. King might even come up huge for us a game or two THIS year.

Defense. He is very lost on defense right now and when he's out of position, it throws the rest of the defense off.

I also noticed the fast break that WColt45 mentioned. The college game is still a little fast for him, but I agree, once it begins to slow down for him, he's going to be very good.

he did make a mistake on the fast break. Was probably the only guy on the team tonight who made a bad decision trying to play too fast . . .

his defense was great tonight. No mistakes that I saw. The defense thing is a myth perpetuated by this board

I don't look to this board to formulate my opinions and King did not play "great" defense against Houston. He did play better defense with only one on-ball mistake, but that happens to just about everyone who gets any playing time. He did have some off-ball mistakes where he got lost and threw the rest of the defense off track.

Having said that, I think it's extremely beneficial for someone of King's abilities to get minutes so that he can make those mistakes in game situations. Often the learning process is speeded up by someone seeing their mistakes on film vs merely working on things in practice. He is going to be a very good player for us and I think he can be a real contributor down the stretch this year.
