?

CDR is the one that 1st popped in my mind. One of his hands would slap the other arm (bicep area) between each dribble. I am sure there is a quirkier routine, but I cant think of it.
Quirkiest pre-enter-the-game routine was Doug McKinney.
Anyone remember that (early- to mid-70s)?

Wow, I don't remember any unusual quirks about Doug McKinney. I do remember that he didn't back down from anybody.

Bill Laurie's quirk on FTs was he took the ball and just shot it. I don't think he even dribbled.

Call it a quirk or superstition, but Shaq always takes the last shot during shoot around before the game starts and before the second half starts.

CDR would touch his Psalm 37:1-3 tattoo 3 times for Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Looked today like Crawford has a new quirky FT routine. Didn't work the time I noticed it.

RE: Who was the Tiger with the most quirky routine ?
I had a chance to meet Antonio Anderson a couple of years ago at a Portland Red Claws NBA d league game at shoot around. He was warming up and noticed me with the Tiger hoody on and saw my son wearing Tiger gear. he came over and signed an autograph for my son. Asked me what a Tiger fan was doing in Maine and laughed. Always loved the guy and still do.....
