Matt and Scott are being pretty reasonable right now. That's nice to hear.

Can't vouch for the callers, necessarily.

Matt and Scott don't seem to have the affliction so many of the others do, They're usually quite fair in talking about UAB.

Driving home, we heard Matt and Scott say that Coach Clark will hopefully be on their show on Jox tonight sometime. Decent comments from them and 1 caller ( used to be in the band ) about UAB and Clark.

Clark will tentatively be on Matt and Scott in the next hour. They said they are planning on interviewing him for around ten minutes after he's through talking to the players.

Clark came across as competent, friendly, ready to work, and excited. Positive.

He said they are evaluating everything that touches the football program, including facilities. Some things he mentioned getting was a turf field and possibly an indoor facility.

He said most of his staff came with him from Jax State, and he expects his staff to be totally complete within about a week.

He also said his meeting with Watts was not 8 hours as reported, but it was more like 4 hours.

Great interview... much more informative and specific about his goals than our previous two coaches. Hopefully the podcast will be up shortly on their website.

Also, a caller afterward mentioned that he got word that UAB is now accepting pledges for UAB Athletics capital improvements through the Campaign for UAB Funding Drive.
