It would be amusing to poach a bunch of coaches from USA.

The JSU RB coach has been there 13 years. He might choose to stay. That might be good for Coach Evans who has been out recruiting for us the last 2 weeks.

RE: New assistant coaches
So, in researching Clark's father, who I heard is close to people on the BOT, I found that Bill was once an assistant on one of his father's coaching staffs.

Another assistant? Rush Probst.

Rush ends up at UAB afterall as OC. 03-lol

Even more reason why those Prattville / Hoover games were very interesting.

At Jacksonville State, sources tell us OC John Grass will be named head coach (possibly tonight!) http://FootballScoop.com/the-scoop

So some assistants will have a tough decision to make.

The OC from USA might receive a call from Clark along with a few others.

True, the OC at Samford (Trickett) did a nice job over there.......wouldn't even have to move :)

Not sure if it was posted in this thread or not, but Probst was an assistant on Coach Clark's dad's team back in the day, along with Coach Clark.

Hate that, the offense at JSU was good as well.

Also means a few other coaches are likely to stay there.

RE: New assistant coaches
The OC at USA might get the next invite.
If that isn't accepted, he may go the HC route. (Niblett, Probst, etc)
Just speculating.

It is a good bump in pay for the HC.

It would not be as big a bump in pay for the assistants if they were to remain.

From what was on the Jax board, assistants there make less than HS HC's.

Their OC/DC made around $90,000........some of the others as low as 40-45,000.
