Is it just me or does any one else think WVU is going to flame out this year?

I say 8-4 or 9-3 still a nice season but not top 5.

Anything is possible but 8-4, no way. My worst case would have them 9-3, with loses to Pitt, UoL and an upset along the way.

They aren't getting enough respect to be a flame-out. With the win against UGA they should be a solid pre-season top 5 team but they are not.

WVU is going to flame opponents. This team is led by a real leader, and has a great coach. Nobody can stop the Mountaineers, except possibly Louisville. And I don't think Louisville's defense will be able to hold the West Virginia offense to fewer points than WVU will allow the Cards to score.

Not sure such a great idea to be on the cover of SI. Most teams that were there ended up getting upset somewhere along the way. WVU will have a great year but the cover is a jinx at best.
