We know that poll means absolutely squat.

The only thing that poll is good for that it gives some recognition to the job Tommy West is doing here and it gets under the skin of Vol & Rebel fans.

Actually you guys should have won that game last year, IMO but there is something about playing you guys that we step up for, hell I would have forsaken that game to beat hell out of LSU though. :D

I only thought Louiseville fans got their "Panties" in a wad. I didn't read any cussing, or other name calling. If that was flaming; I've seen worse including a PacoReb guy that used to bug the heck out of Memphis fans.

I've always thought Mississippi did alot to support Memphis athletically through the years. I even tried to get one of my children to go there instead of Rhodes. It would have been alot easier on my wallet.

In any event; none of us should take what we read on these boards too seriously.

agreed..yeah take predictions for what they are worth. I will say though that by Memphis being on the preseason poll, it at least shows that folks are respecting the program for Coach West and what he has coming back and there ain't anything wrong with that.
