Many people thought that Hart was an after thought in Michigan's recruiting. He was small and was listed as 3 star rb., from upstate New York. Even if you hate UofM, you can admire how hard this kid worked to become a starting rb.
Hell, all he needed to do was look at MAC recruiting to see that Eastern was ranked dead last out of 125 or so D1 teams.. to bolt some where.
If you accuse Hart of being disloyal, just remember that Nick Saban was never ever leaving the Miami Dolphins. Clue number one, loyalty doesn't stretch far in big time sports, even at the MAC level.

I don't know where you are getting your information, but Eastern, the last two years was rated about the middle of the pack in MAC recruiting for football. If you are talking of this year, it isn't even finished yet.
Any school that does well in recruiting this year, will not see the majority of those recruits playing this fall, so if I read your statement correctly, it doesn't hold much water.
I think integrity would be more the word than loyalty. Did Mike Hart tell Coach Creighton that he was looking at other offers when he was back on staff at Eastern? Remember this was just ten days ago when Hart was given his position of running back coach.

I don't get the bitterness towards Hart from our EMU friends. We're talking about a RB coach, not OC, not head coach...a RB coach.

If there's any bitterness, it should be that he was a dick as a football player.

If he is still here when MSU invades Waldo, don't get too confused with the "Little Sister" cheer.

Of course it's temporary.

All football coaching jobs at WMU are temporary. Just some are more temporary than others.
