I would rule out a 12th team being added yet. We certainly would have heard about this. It must be something about sponsorship, a possible 4th bowl tie-in, or possibly a new sport being added.

That article has a date of 1/17/2014 on it, as you showed. Would they make an official announcement 4 days after that came out? Kind of doubt that tomorrow's news, but could be wrong.

Why award The Bourdreaux Cup. Just email a confirmation each year. There is no real competition.

How about a new TV contract?

Just like nobody will compete in any bowl count with UL. We should win all things by default, glad you now understand.
