You misunderstand. I was trying desperately to avoid it. No offense to the actual blazersax, if that's still possible at this point. He could be a changed man.

Meanwhile schools I'm not even sure if they'll be playing in Fbs this year, are having better recruiting classes than us. ODU and Charlotte. Hope Clark can recruit. Can we give him a pass on year 1 like we did McGee in year 1?

There are obvious flaws with recruiting class rankings but 247 actually has ODU 2nd in C-USA, behind WKU http://247sports.com/Season/2014-Footbal...ence=C-USA

He gets one whether one wants to give it to him or not. Slamming a new coach's recruiting class when he just came on board in December is asinine. Slamming said class when he gets the job in the last half of January is...whatever is worse than asinine. Freaky asinine?

Good news is that the JUCO's are already enrolled
Most of the commitments are waiting on the coach to be announced before making a determination. It does seem that most of the recruits have a good relationship with the players already at UAB (Wilson, Lisa, etc).

I really think that this is a good hire, and I hold out hope that most of the recruits come on to UAB.

There are a group of recruits coming in this weekend for a visit.

Not sure how many though.

There was a thread where we were talking about various schools who were traditional basketball powers. Sax asked "Why is UCLA on that list? They've had what, one championship in twenty years?" or something to that effect.

Yeah. He was really *that* clueless. John Wooden, Lew Alcindor, Bill Walton, ten straight NCAA championships... "Who?"
