47-39 at halftime, and frankly, I feel good about LA Tech now being within 8 points at the half. USM was on FIRE in the first half. NO WAY USM can play that well in the 2nd half.

I kind of disagree - shooting 3's is our only offensive play and I doubt the percentage is great. The difference in this sloppy game is FT's - USM is making theirs and we are not. USM's inside points and our 3's are a wash.

I am not taking anything away from USM - FT's are part of the game and you'll want this one more so far and your team is outplaying us.

We're not out of this by any means. We trailed Oklahoma by more than this on several occasions. I think USM us probably better than OU though.

Coach White is ready to explode on the stripes and can't do anything about after a questionable 1st half T-foul. You have to give USM credit, they are killing it from the stripe. I'm just taking issue with the way they are getting there so easily. Bulldogs have to shoot lights out in the 2nd to have a chance. I think both teams benches will be tested before this one is over.

At halftime, LA Tech is only 8 of 15 from the free throw line, including missing the front end of 5 separate 1-1's.

They are pretty spectacular then. #25 OU beat #12 Baylor in Waco yesterday.

Maybe today. But I, for one, think that OU beating Iowa State and Baylor is no small feat and not sure if anyone in CUSA could do that.

Watson with a 3. First one of the game for the eagles. Now 1-11 on the day. 63-59 eagles with under 10 mins.

Imagine if we were shooting better then 9% on 3's. :-)

I think La Techs bad free throw shooting has rubbed off on USM. We are 2-9 in this half.
