My rank
Clark
Grobe, Gran (if Kaufman were DC)
Jenkins

Kaufman is making $355,000 at Cincinnati, so that pretty much rules that out. Gran/Tuberville know a heck of a lot of good coaches though.

Kaufman is making $0 at Cincy, he was let go last week or week before

Wow! I hadn't heard that........maybe we could get him here after all. He is a very good coach.

What does this response mean? (father standing up for him against the bot)

quote:
Bill Clark would be an out of the park home run for UAB if they can get him. He knows how to recruit, raise money, and can flat out coach.

Best possible hire for UAB. He will need a respected UA Alum to stand up for him against UA BOTs, his father would fit that role.

All that means is that his dad is one of Bear's boys. The BoT will probably hire him instead.

Saban did offer him a position on the staff a few years ago, but it was not a position on the field.
