Not sure the Niners deserved that win after letting Tulsa pull ahead at the end. Looked like it was over in regulation.

Hopefully Charlotte can use this result to turn things around a bit and start playing more like the team in the early season in all aspects of the game (especially defense).

Charlotte missed 20 free throw.
They played an intense game with 100 seconds left.

if Tech can beat Tulane then Tech & ODU will be the only teams without a conference loss

Charlotte's rebounding advantage was worth more points than Tulsa's free throw advantage tonight. I feel lucky to get the win.

From what I have seen so far Tech is the class of the league so far. What I saw from my team again tonight leaves me with doubts that we can be consistent enough Sunday to beat Tech.

Going to be a great game. Wish I could see it, but I'll be on a plane, so will have to see the elation or breakdown when I land.

Here's hoping for a good game with no injuries...and a La TECH win of course.04-cheers

We play the same way at times too. We lost to ULL at home - they have a decent team and a couple of very good players but that is one I wish we could play again. If we can shoot over 30% from 3 and decent from the FT line then we are pretty good - if not then USM will probably beat us by 5-10.

I'll be the first to predict the Tech-USM score: Tech 77, USM 67.

Wonder how many teams have missed 20 free throws and in a game in still won? Still shocked we pulled this one out.

Just glad we beat Tulsa for the first time. Ever.

True. Seems like them and St. Louis are our two bugaboos.

I still think the loss of their scorer and a game against better competition of defense (sorry, but Tulane and the F_U's are in the bottom half of the league this season), and a less sloppy performance from Tyndall's coaching (again, we always seem to play better and less sloppily for the most part against better situated teams) puts USM over the top ..

Defensively USM has only allowed two teams over 70 points twice, and I dont' see La Tech scoring enough points out of the arch shooting 33%, although they'll take the shots.

Just keep Kyser from making the rebounds and I think USM takes this one ... 72-68 (if it were in Ruston, I'd say not a chance USM wins... )
