Tech playing hard even with their leading scorer out.

Only negative I have seen is the missed FT's - will really hurt us against the better teams. Overall good first half for us.

I remember checking earlier, seeing FIU up 20-19 or something like that. Was a bit surprised. Came back to find this! 19 Unanswered points!!!! Wow.

The 16 points lost by Appleby's injury have been easily replaced tonight. Impressed with the way Jaron Johnson and Kenyon have picked up the slack.

JJ is a different type of player for us and will really help on rebounding

Of course not. When you lose the #26 all-time scorer for your program obviously that is a concern, but if we can continue to have one guy out of CJ, JJ, and Kenyon step up every night we can survive.

JJ got the dunk of the game again. If he can continue to do that, he could have the best highlight reel of the year for CUSA...do they give an award for that...LOL

Dawgs looking very good tonight. Even without Appleby. Isn't FIU supposed to be pretty good? A "middle of the pack" CUSA team?

all I know about FIU is they aren't eligible for the conference tournament

Yep, but we are playing good so far this season. Still have USM, UAB, MTSU, and Charlotte coming up. If we can keep it up, we will do well this season.
