They are tough. And they are coming down to the Belt from a better conference.

Either they're very good, or Western isn't as good as they usually are. Was Georgia State in the American Sun, which is the old TAAC? I really don't know for sure where they came from.04-cheers

Indeed, the CAA.

I still believe they will win the belt. I'm very high on their coach and they have 3 scoring threats which 2 are potential nba players.

I just look at their box score and saw that all their starters scored double figures. The big wow is that they went 22 for 22 at the foul line.

Strange how things change. I seem to remember Georgia State as a below average team in the old TAAC when we were dominating. And they played in some antiquated gym on the second floor of a building or something like that. But we played at the old Trojan Fieldhouse at one time, so I guess you can't judge a program on what it did thirty years ago. Glad to have some good teams in our league. We just want to be the best.01-lauramac2

They have been a traditionally bad team by any standards, all-time winning percentage of .400 or below. They still play in that facility you described, the GSU Sports Arena.

They have a good coach and two players with NBA-potential, though not how sure that is.

Is that a new arena, or a proposed new arena?

$40m gutting of current arena which isn't an arena. In other words we are going to roll through the Belt in a 42 year old walk up gym.

Lol, that is pretty funny.

The biggest issue you will face is travel. You are on the edge of a bus league, for the most part.

Not as bad as Denver but that will factor in.

Wku will be back. They get off to a slow start more years then win at the end. Just ask middle how that works.

I can't tell anything from your record. You won a few and lost to no name teams.

Like everyone else in the belt there is no ooc signature win there.

Hard for me to decide if you guys are real. All that posting on the main sbc board but nothing in the ooc backs up the swagger.

We are still not playing well and that should scare a lot of people. Our top 3 shooters had off nights and we still won by 23. I am still waiting for this team to put it all together nightly.

And you may well do it.

This is the weakest the sbc has been in ten years. A lot of teams are going to have a shot at winning it this year imo.

I doubt you will walk through the sbc. I get this probably is the first time you ever really had a chance to see your team have a chance at success since your program was a perennial doormat for years.

Enjoy Coach Hunter while he is there because once he is gone you all will probably be back at the bottom again.

#1 for LR Alum. Slow your roll, panama. You've got a nice looking team no doubt but all I remember about Georgia State was wiping the floor with them most years in the TAAC.
