I believe this was Joe Novak? Could someone explain what this means to a neanderthal like myself? So if I stay 2 or 3 days then quit I'm still a champion? I'm confused easily....

Are you sure it was Novak? I google searched it for the fun of it, and a 'modified' version of the quote says Bo Schembechler said it.

I don't know if this is a Fleck joke or not. I've never heard/seen the "more than one day" part...but it's hilarious.
