"For eight home games so far, attendance has averaged 4,153. There were 7,307 at the Belmont game. "

I shouldn't have a problem buying tickets at the door.

You can still get them through the UAB ticket office through tomorrow. Keep your green on the southside.

You can pick them up at the will call window.

(I know these things because I got two today 03-lol)

Maybe. But I have heard some talk of a near sellout. Remember this is a special game for them in that it is their first CUSA game ever. If you buy thru UAB, you sit with UAB folks

OFFENSE

Effective FG% UAB 45.1 (311) MT 47.5 (248)

Turnover% UAB 19.0 (208) MT 17.8 (127)

Off Reb% UAB 43.4 (2) MT 37.5 (29)

FTA/FGA UAB 41.7 (149) MT 50.7 (27)

3P% UAB 30.4 (299) MT 30.4 (298)

2P% UAB 45.0 (293) MT 48.3 (185)

FT% UAB 72.5 (74) MT 65.2 (300)

Block% UAB 10.4 (219) MT 6.4 (10)

Steal% UAB 10.8 (307) MT 9.1 (191)

When it comes to UAB's offense, UAB does well with offensive rebounds and free throw percentage. MT is better in all other offensive categories, except for 3-pt % which is a push. Both teams are poor 3-pt shooters.

MT doesn't have many of their shots blocked. They go to the foul line a lot, but are poor free throw shooters.

Statistically, MT is the better team with respect to offense.

DEFENSE

Effective FG% UAB 44.8 (36) MT 47.6 (108)

Turnover% UAB 12.4 (350) MT 19.9 (94)

Off Reb% UAB 28.0 (45) MT 29.4 (85)

FTA/FGA UAB 26.5 (6) MT 51.1 (307)

3P% UAB 28.2 (15) MT 36.7 (269)

2P% UAB 45.9 (95) MT 44.1 (60)

FT% UAB 68.4 (128) MT 71.5 (261)

Block% UAB 9.1 (188) MT 13.5 (52)

Steal% UAB 5.0 (350) MT 10.1 (78)

Regarding defense, MT is good at causing turnovers, while UAB is second to last in the country. UAB does a good job defending field goals, and both teams do well getting rebounds and preventing offensive rebounds by the opposing team. UAB does a great job keeping the opposing team off the charity stripe. MT does not.

MT blocks a lot of shots and gets a lot of steals. UAB trails MT significantly in both categories.

Statistically, it appears UAB is slightly better regarding defense.

It's impossible for a computer program to piss - period.

Furthermore, a 3-point margin is still pretty much a toss-up, especially on the road.

RE: Middle Tennessee
The offensive and defensive statistics above were based on D-1 games only.

UAB played two nonD-1 schools, while MT played one.

Strength of schedule regarding OOC games: UAB 281, MT 219.

You could not have hurt Kevmo more if you had given him a 50% warning notice.
