RE: UAB @ MTSU, 1/11/14
I'm more concerned with the 17 TOs with 14 minutes left to play.

Bad loss. Oh well. Maybe in 2014-15 season.

Good game MTSU. Your players made the plays when it counted. Welcome to CUSA Basketball.

Playing @MTSU is one of the hardest CUSA games we have this season. Why anyone would call losing in overtime a bad loss is beyond me.

Good game guys.

Great game, great turnout by UAB. Our fans don't cheer much, but tonight seemed especially dead until OT. Good win for the boys in blue especially how bad they have played the last several games.

Congratulations to MTSU on their first C-USA win. They earned it.
Drive up was easy and fun with great company.
Slick Pig was good. Nanner pudding was OUTSTANDING. I could eat it until I fall into a coma. It was pretty cool that they shut the place down for us.
Fans were very nice. Several MTSU fans compliment us on our team and thanked us for coming. Not one cross word was said. Big difference from Memphis fans. These folks have class.
That's about all I have. Off to bed.

Went to the game and had a great time. Didn't get the outcome I wanted, but enjoyed the experience nonetheless. A few MTSU fans said we (the UAB students) provided some entertainment for them, and helped them get into the game a little bit. Nice fans.

Sounds like a great time, wish I could have made the drive up. Might try to make the drive over March 6th. I think this could be a great basketball rivalry, if in basketball or football travels you find yourself in Murfreesboro on a Friday or Saturday night(as much as I love Slick Pig) check out Miller's Grocery in neighboring Christiana. My favorite meal within a half hour of campus.

You folks brought a good crowd and made some noise. I even spotted Bill Lansden, his wife and kids decked out in Blazer Green. Great game.

That's a strange arena you have there. And who set the thermostat to 85F? Lord, it was hot! 03-lol

I'll echo previous sentiments that I had a great time (outcome, notwithstanding) and enjoyed the Raider fans I encountered.

Fans weer great. It's nice going to a basketball game and not getting cussed at or having to feel like I need to fist fight my way out. I am liking the trade of blue Tennessee teams.

You guys bring twice as much as that red team to the North.

Very impressed !

Also impressed that you offer "Congrats" to our team, and not come up with lame excuses why your team lost (officials, injuries, Kermit cheated, etc, etc) like that red team to the North 05-stirthepot They have never really lost a game.

UAB has really improved over last year. Your PG will make some big money soon. And 2 of your 6-8+ guys are very athletic.

RE: MTSU 89 - UAB 84 (OT)
I had a great time last night--the game was very intense. We had some chances to take the game but just couldn't get over the hump. MT will be tough at home this year--since we're travel buddies and play essentially the same schedule it will be interesting to see how both teams do this year. All of the MT fans I encountered were great people--I'd trade you guys for Mempiss any day.
