Kuran could be the same... couldn't be any worse than having 4 guards who miss 31 out of 37 shots to end the game......

31 of 32 according to the CA. There were 37 total so non guards shot 5.

That's got to be incorrect. CC hit his only 3 and made a layup in the 2nd half. Geron had a put back dunk.

For purposes of accuracy, guards were 6 of 31 in the 2nd half

And everyone thinks they should have gotten it inside more effectively.

They got rattled by Cinci's interior D and took the easy way rather than the effective way.

No point having a conversation with anyone who can't see that

Against Cincy, they switched on every move by our guards. They have multiple players that can guard multiple positions. We never could get free to create plays for others. And they were all big (6'5" plus). Not gonna find many teams that have players that can be so versatile.

Until he starts holding ALL his players accountable for stupid and foolish mistakes, you can count on a lot of games like yesterday. I have been ref'ing for over 30 years and I don't see high school players jump in the air with nowhere to throw the ball as much as our so called senior gurds do. Plus, we flat get out toughed. They push, we don't push back. Also, hustle means nothing to our coach. We do nothing to try to get game to our tempo. I don't even get mad anymore.I ll be right there pulling for them again on Thursday but my days of getting mad are over.

Yep me too. Kinda gotten numb to the whole situation. I just really-really wonder though if Josh and some of our players even have a clue. No excuse for yesterday.

Me as well. I just turned the TV off with about 1:20 left and said to my self "well??? This ain't 1985 anymore."
I really have lost my desire to see the BB team "rule". I mean, in the past it was always with the mindset that we get to a better conference. Well, we are in about as good a BB conference as we could hope for right now.
Football is the next step. As long as the BB program isn't outright embarrassing, I'm good with it.

Me three. My wife and I left with about 6 mins left. Unfortunately, this is what we're gonna get with Pastner. We will lose most games we play against anyone worth a flip and he will pad his record vs cupcakes. With each passing season, my wife and I become less and less interested in Tiger hoops and I used to live, eat, breathe, and sleep it. I wont be getting pissed after losses anymore as I have completely lowered my expectations.

It is what it is.

Cincy's frontline wasn't versatile at all. They are small, and playing a traditional lineup against them is the way to beat them. They don't have anyone over 6'8 and only one player heavier than 220 getting big minutes.

Cincy's 6'5 to 6'8; 200-220 pound frontline is versatile when you play 4 guys against them that are between 6'1 and 6'4. You can possibly create mismatches if your guards are very good at penetrating; but aside from JJ, and occasionally Geron; ours aren't.

Physically; Cincy's 4/5's are basically mirror images of Nick King...all in the neighborhood of 6'7 and 220 LBS.

RE: Geoff on Josh
Blows my mind that somebody in his position could be so stubborn/stupid as to not have any sort of back up plan to the four guards. It's true that when we they play well we will be at our best. BUt to just give up when that doesn't happen is just astounding. And then for him to constantly say it on tv and radio! He should have a back up plan for his back up plan. He clearly works hard so I can't say it's laziness, but it has to be either incompitence and/or stubborness that makes him run things like he is. It makes no damn sense to not have at least one plan in place for games when our guards aren't firing on all cylanders.

Especially if they are unranked
