ZeroCare was to Cut Down on ER Visits - Study Concludes 40% Increase - Another Lie
Medicaid expansion under ObamaCare will lead to more emergency room visits, study suggests

Own It Dumbocrats.

Quote:The Harvard University study recently published in the journal Science shows that emergency room visits increased by 40 percent for those who received Medicaid when Oregon expanded the program in 2008.

“While these higher costs don’t come as a surprise to many, it has left us wondering why do Democrats call it the Affordable Care Act if the law doesn’t lower the cost of heath care,” said Michigan Republican Rep. Dave Camp, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee.

As a former ER nurse I can attest to this fact. Plus the leeches on Medicaid act like the most entitled patients ever and abuse the system. They go to the ER for everything instead of having a primary doc.

About to get much worse. This is why hospitals close their ERs.

But wait. I though O'Care was supposed to cut down visits to the ER by indigent patients for non-emergencies because they would now have insurance and thus save all of us tons of taxpayer money? Now you're telling me that it won't and the administration lied. No Way!

Yes, way. Republicans have said it all along and they were ridiculed.
