It's obvious Lunardi really isn't paying attention to CUSA Basketball. No knock against La Tech but just sayin'.......

Tech can win CUSA and so can any of Charlotte, UAB, Middle Tenn. and Southern Miss

If Lunardi put La Tech on his bracket because he believes they will win CUSA then ok. If Lunardi is doing his bracket based off what teams have done as of this moment then you would think that team would be USM.

I know that bracket is just for conversation purposes so no big deal anyways.

If UTEP wins the tournament on their home court, we might have alot of teams in the NIT

I really don't have any idea who win the conference but it's pretty wide open right now without any clear favorite.

I doubt it. Most teams SOS will be so bad CUSA would probably at best get two teams in the NIT. But we would probably have 3 or 4 teams the CBI or CIT would be interested in.

No clear favorite and would not be surprise if there is a tie for the regular season championship. On a side note, no regular season CUSA Champ has ever been left out of the Dance. That will probably come to an end this season unless the regular season champ wins the tourney as well.

Disagree - I think if the 4-5 teams playing well now do so in conference we will be well represented in the NIT.

Maybe the Pirates can work some magic in the CUSA tourney and get in.

Those are stupid projections....he obviously took us out because we lost by 3 to a good WKU team at their place...yet he's got Drexel in who is 8-4 and just lost to Buffalo?? What's his rationale? Oh well, we play them tomorrow night. We BADLEY need to send at least 2 or 3 teams. I think we can send 3 from this group:

USM
La Tech
Charlotte
UAB

MT probably won't win the conference. That said, it depends on our first real game against UAB. If we beat them maybe I won't feel so negative.

I'm confused... doesn't he usually do his bracketology's based on who's leading the conference?

USM 10-2, La Tech 10-3...

I haven't seen ECU play but if they are decent then yes they have a shot. Remember we are only good when we shoot at least 30% from 3 and plus 70% for the FT line. We don't have consistent shooters that show up every night and since we don't have a good inside game we need to be able to shoot well to win against good teams. Remember the ULL game at home?

Middle Tennessee will be no threat to win the title. Pains me to say it, but facts are facts......

USM 10-2, La Tech 10-3...

Random guess? It isn't record or RPI.

La Tech and USM both had great seasons last year, but La Tech did return a lot more players from their 27 win team. I think most people like myself have more faith in their team because of that. USM has had the better start but there is a lot less history to suggest they are the real deal by comparison.

Tech only lost 2 guys off that 27 win team and those players barely made much of a difference
