Having said that; he has a ton of talent. When he figures it out, he is going to be a terrific player for us. I have no idea when that will be.

I agree that he seems overly focused on scoring rather than trying to score within the context of the offense. Hope he learns to involve others better. Reminds me of Rudy Gay. I don't think his style makes the unit on the floor better (even if he does have talent). His game needs to mature.

I am not saying to start Iverson over Nichols, but I am saying maybe you need to lighten up on Iverson. Especially painting him as a selfish player, unless your ready to say Nichols is even more selfish? I would guess that if Nichols wasn't here, Iverson might be sharing minutes evenly with Pellom and would have adjusted to the college game by now.

Disagree for many reasons. No need to elaborate.

It is pretty simple. Right now Iverson is unplayable. He looks like a guy who should be at CBU. Maybe he will develop and maybe not. He has the physical tools but not sure if he has the mental capacity.

He is confused. He isn't much worse than Shaq, Joe Jackson or Will Barton were. He probably had lousy coaching in high school.

Iverson and Dom need a lot of work. That guy from USF owned Dom last night.

You mean the Giant 10 foot 600 lber lol? He'll be good for 2 minutes a game for the duration of his career 03-razz.

Exactly my point

Opinions vary there Chico. Tom Bowen, Tyler Marriucci and Ryan Alpert seem to love my act, especially at donation time.

Not true. Me, Geo and Jedi have plenty of fun on here. Relax and enjoy the ride Jean!

Time for this site to require a mandatory contribution of $20. That way whenever losers like Saluki, you,Jake Show, Hoopdreams, Bluebeard, etc decide to throw out a new alias; you need to ask your boyfriends/mothers for their credit card and explain that you need it to create multiple identities on a message board.

If they did that Brooks and GeorgiaTiger would be bankrupt. I have it on good authority that a banned poster here DID indeed donate some money doe.

How many do you have besides Jake Show?

I know the school system is bad up there, so here's the deal here. Only aliases of BANNED posters are banned. So Jake Show taint me. I'll try and type slower so you can comprehend better next time.

Is this the freshman pile-on thread?

If so, anyone ever notice Austin sets the weakest screen in D1 ball? He starts his roll to the basket before the defender even has a chance to be screened, it's like he is in a hurry to get out of the defender's way.

RE: Iverson Is Going To Be Very Good
Iverson will be fine. Not many teams in American, Africa or Asia have 6 ft 10 inch guards. For him, problem is that the Tigers don't need to rely on him. Pastner was probably straight up with Iverson when he recruited him: "You'll be playing behind 4 senior guards, plus we have two forwards who will start ahead of you." He came anyway, and I'm glad he did. He needs to develop, get stronger and work on his shot. But, man, he's got a ton of potential.

If we're bashing freshmen, I know this kid named John who's a business major but is so lazy he'll never do anything but flip burgers, unless his work ethic improves.

The ironic thing is if ANYONE else had started this thread, the OP would be calling that person stupid, a moron, a troll and an alias. It's amazing how some people are given more rope than others.

Great job training if you do anything with it and realize how hard the work is. John, unfortunately, lacks focus and intensity.

He can shoot free throws, however.

It's amazing how 5 people with 15 aliases are allowed to try and wreck the board. You didn't even have the brains to cover up your alias by thinking of anything original for him to say...just like every single post you make on this board.

Amazing how someone can go months without saying anything insightful, intelligent or worthwhile.

Tell us again why we should have recruited Nino Johnson instead of Demarcus Cousins. That was awesome.

Tell us again where Demarcus Cousins stands among our all time leading scorers and rebounders, I cant seem to find him listed in any of our archives.
