2015 WMU commit Chris Palombizio
We already have a stretch 4 that's lights out from the perimeter.
Needs are greater elsewhere. If palombizio was highly touted (like Dugan) then I'd be much more upset.

RE: 2015 WMU commit Chris Palombizio
a slick true point guard would be fun to watch for 4 years. It has been a long long time since we had a floor general at the 1 (Who was the last? Never really drank the koolaide on Redell). Ball State's Randy Davis was a favorite of mine, to hate. But, he would have also been one of my favorites if he was ours.
I guess, I grew to like Douglas...but it seemed like a love/hate...
I don't know where I am going with this...I guess he have had good guards. I just feel like Richie is a conflicted PG. But we are deep at the off guard/small forward (2-3). Good problem I guess

I'm very much looking forward to watching Wilder. Hearing very good things about him. I'm also wondering if Klein turns into Andre Ricks version 2.0 going forward. If Richie gets 25+ minutes per game and Wilder fills in adequately, I wonder if Klein can make the jump to SG like Ricks did. The kid seems to be able to score and make things happen when he's in the game. Also prone to bone headed passes at times. Our SG situation behind Brown is Klein and Washington unless Richie or Tucker moves over in spurts.

Wilder in high school: . . . like that he got the Academic award as well...
High School: Averaged 18 points, seven assists, and two steals per game at Quakerdale Prep in 2012-13...averaged 17 points per game at Oswego East as a sophomore...recipient of the 2012-13 Academic Award at Quakerdale

Strangely, Hawkins seems to recruit better when we have a down year than when we have a good year. Recruits often look at PT and a lack of competition at their spot.
On the other hand if Bizio is looking at Toledo, then I suspect it's simply because Coach K is the John Calipary of the MAC.

He is listed at 210 all four years according to the online roster. Though the athleticism is a valid point, if that has been lost with Palombizio's recent growth, it is best that he goes elsewhere as we do not have a need at 4.

Brian Snider, not a point "guard" but still... Some say Tava may be filling out that kind of role over the next couple years.
