Anyone know where I can find cheaper tickets to the bowl game? I don't much feel like spending $50 a pop on them, but I would very much like to go. Any local business got any to offload or anything?

Check out Craigslist. There seem to be a couple pairs going for $25.

The bowl getting a decent record SEC team will mean demand for the tickets this year. I would be surprised if Vandy doesn't draw well locally and they have a credible opponent as well. My source for bowl tix last year told me this year's allotment was all gone almost as soon as they arrived. If the game is as good as last year, we may move up in the TV rankings again. If so, lining up a new bowl sponsor may become much easier than first expected.

I might have a pair that I can let go for free. But I won't know for sure until a little later this week, my father-in-law is supposed to get back to me on whether or not he wants to go. And I would have to leave them at Will Call, I won't have them until game day, I'm a game day volunteer.
