My Cadillac was a good car and my Wrangler is phenominal.
Are you thinking about getting a used Dodge Magnum?
Negative.
The Daimler Chrysler days saw that company reach new lows in just about every way. They were the American Beitish Leyland.
You are right, but I still think the Charger is a sweet car. I was a big Dukes of Hazzard kid growing up.
All in all, this is my favorite car.

I think the Mustangs are cool.
Chrysler was, and is, kind of weird; they have some of the coolest and most unique cars, Challneger, Viper, Wrangler, Charger, etc but they also have some of the just worst cars out there, Dart, Compass, Patriot, 200, and more. It's crazy.

I agree. So does Ford. Taurus, Festiva etc

I actually kinda liked the Dart... oh wait, you mean the _newer_ Darts. Never mind :)
I thought you meant this...
And not this..
Now the 200, that car made ZERO sense to me... it was kind of a "let's see what we can do to fool people to think we're making a Cadillac, and we'll do it as cheaply as we can".
And yes, Chrysler under the Daimler Chrysler name has been torture...

Actually Ford took an earlier loan from the govt (people forget that), but they paid off that loan; and basically from what I gather, they told the unions that they _would_ shut down their American production if the Unions didn't back off their demands. (and I believe they would have done it)
Plus Ford has the F-150's that are still the #1 sellers in the world...

I think they were the perfect example of a company run entirely by accountants.

It'll be important in the coming years that Ford has some considerable debt and their crosstown rival doesn't. It's a pretty big competitive disadvantage that will become more pronounced in time.

RE: What kind car do you drive?
Here's a question I would like to ponder:
Which poster on this forum drives the worst car?
