Makes sense for Connecticut, I suppose. ESPN has a presence in LA, Orlando, and Charlotte, and could easily grow or move some operations to any of those places if they got incentives to do so.

Other translation could be the employees of ESPN pay a crap ton of taxes to the State of Connecticut and they don't want that to dry up.
