Could care less...the only thing that matters is getting into the NCAAs, playing well from 5 February 2014 on and getting a good draw to defend our Title...07-coffee3

Yeah...Maize would certainly care (and tell the world) about THAT game if UL won (and everyone knows it)

Louisville and Kentucky along with Duke and North Carolina are two of the 8 Elite Programs in College Basketball...but then again...wake me in February when we begin the push to repeat...

I think Maize's next honest post will be his first.

Well, what else would you call a small subgroup that is clueless about the UNC/Duke rivalry?

Maybe one of the benefits of being a college hoop fan in FLA is that we get to watch most national games....whereas it seems in other states/cities...they only watch their own games and know so little about all the others.

And the past couple of years come the Final Four which schools did you watch....it was Louisville......

Sure...UL was one of those schools that many of us have watched recently...they've had some very good teams of late...but the my previous comments were in a response by a few UL fans who were obviously clueless about the magnitude of the UNC/Duke rivalry, that's all.

Duke - North Carolina is the Top Conference Rivalry

Interesting you didn't post this in it full context...straight out of Fox/MSNBC....just sad:

Repeat...I don't care as much as others....didn't say the other fans didn't care....re-read it....reading comprehension...plus, said it for months only care about February on...only said it is the Top Non Conference Rivalry in Basketball-(the utter hatred between Pitino and Calipari and the fact you have literal fights in nursing homes over this game)...that is a statement that is considered accurate...didn't state my personnel feelings on it....another failed "gotcha moment"...07-coffee3

Come on. Losing to Kentucky always sucks for you guys, no matter what the circumstances. 07-coffee3

Quo...that true for most UofL fans...but I just don't live and die for early season games...I have always if you notice throughout the years on this board been like this.

Didn't freaking out last year when they lost 3 straight in January and will not do it now...want to be playing well those last 10 Games heading into the AAC Tournament/NCAA's...in Basketball you are judged by the post season...05-nono

Yes, I know that the post-season is where a team makes its legacy, and I have no doubt that if UL goes on to win the title again this year, this loss to UK in December will be a faint, distant, and decidedly non-hurtful memory for Cards fans.

But as of today, it must suck. 07-coffee3

Thats the point though, they will hear it for the next 364 days. They know it. Anything else they say is BS. Maize is truly the Louisville equivalent of baghdad bob.

Speaking of this, could you imagine how much of a media **** storm some of those old Louisville-Memphis games would've been had there been Twitter and 24 hour sports stations back then?
