UMass Fires Head Coach
Just saw where UMASS fired their head coach after his second season today. Wonder if former Towson president Bob Caret who is now at UMASS will set his sights in hiring Rob Ambrose for a second time?

From coachingsearch.com
UMass: Head coach Charley Molnar has been dismissed. He was 2-22 in two seasons, the first two in FBS for the program. Molnar has three years remaining on his contract, valued at $836,000. Here is our story. It will be interesting to see if UMass reaches out to Boston College defensive coordinator Don Brown, Mark Whipple, or Philadelphia Eagles assistant Bill McGovern. Carr Sports Consulting will aid UMASS in its search, so it will be interesting to see if Oakland Raiders quarterbacks coach John DeFilippo emerges. DeFilippo was part of the JMU search that was also aided by Bill Carr. Some coaches believe that Eric Mangini could emerge as a candidate.

RE: UMass Fires Head Coach
Rob would have to be completely brain damaged to go to UMASS as the head coach. He just rebuilt Towson from ground zero and right now UMASS is worse off having won only 2 games the last two seasons. Add in the just fired UMASS head coach was dismissed for his mistreatment of players as much as he was for the won loss record, so I doubt that Rob's ego and track record with player relations is going to go far there.

I believe he's done ok with that ego and horrible record of player relations.
