Good debate though. Gives us something to talk about.

Most players take scholarships from players who truly want to get an education...

Kinda funny how this has happened now with the COVID extension. Would definitely like to see it extended to all grad students. Why can’t kids keep playing when they are in grad school? Seems like common sense to me. Let’s have six year players.

We could recruit surgeons and keep them up to ten years but I see some holes in your plan

Sorry. DJ Stephens was a good kid but I didn’t want another year with a 6-4 170 lb 4 man who couldn’t dribble or shoot

So a 23 & 24 year old is so much older? I guess you don't watch the NBA where 36 year olds play against 19 & 20 year olds? Or baseball where an 18 year old hits against a 40 year old pitcher? Or the NFL where a 20 year old QB gets sacked by a 35 year old linebacker?

Seriously; stop ******* around.

Stop, I'm serious.

That's what have people concerned.

Lol that’s what people will feel like if DeAndre gets to play another year. Which highly doubt will happen.

The problem is the ones you want gone continue to stay. See Dandridge and Lomax

But those two are kind of an exception to the whole process. Penny just will not let them go. If he would have kept Tyler Harris and let alo go, that would’ve been a big difference maker for our team this year. Just my opinion on that one.

This is an idea worth consideration. It would give non P5 institutions a way to compete with the well heeled who have gigantic nil budgets. The players are supposed to be student athletes. There is education beyond an undergraduate degree.

Yep and your opinion lacks much substance. However it is obvious you would make a much better choice to lead the program than Penny.

BIG difference. Just not a positive one. That’s not a dis on Tyler. I just don’t think he would have been a good fit for this team.
