In Tonight's Coaches Show on the radio for NMSU, our AD said that NMSU will not play Georgia State and ULM Next year. Will have South Alabama and App State on the schedule. Was not mentioned where the game will be played.

Well, one will be home and the other road. The only things we know for sure is that Idaho somehow misses AState and Georgia Southern (I can see the * already if the Vandals do well) and AState misses App State. The rumor is that ULL and Troy miss each other, but I've yet to hear anything official.

We'll be swapping out GS and ? for App and Troy. I'm thinking ULM or USA but not sure.

We miss South Alabama next year as well as stAte in 2016.

I don't miss any of you dinging swicks.

It's not a lead pipe lock but that's what App has been told barring any late changes. And I was told by a TxSt beat writer App goes to San Marcos in 2016.

I am curious about you guys supposedly hosting NMSU and Idaho. Obviously, we're redoing the schedule in 2017 for CCU, but unless you drop one of those teams at that point, you would end up playing at both NMSU AND Idaho in 2017.

Either way App went from hosting ULL, Ark St and GS one year to our best conference home game being GA St. Glad we have Miami at home next year.

If we get App at home (and are dropping USA), our home schedule would be:

That was pretty much certain to happen for a few years based on the way your games got scheduled. Hopefully once Coastal joins, you'll be able to make some adjustments to ensure at least one quality home game a year

There are no SBC OOC Openings for next year., Obviously, Coastal will have a full 8 league games in 2017, but for one year, they are going to have to rely on what they can find...

The Vandals will play a five game home schedule. But, one of the games is at WSU, eight miles away. GaSo plays two games that nearly qualify as home games. Still a good schedule.

Here is what stAte's looks like

Sept 3 vs Toledo
Sept 10 @ Auburn
Sept 17 @ Utah State
Sept 24 vs Central Arkansas

Conference:

@ Troy
vs South Alabama
@ ULL
@ Georgia State
vs Georgia Southern
vs ULM
vs New Mexico State
@ Texas State

Both The Toledo and Utah State games are returns for earlier games. We've got a bunch of interesting G5 matchups ahead with home and homes with SMU, UNLV, and Tulsa beginning starting in 2017 and 2018.
