Three straight Bowl wins slim, how about you? Starting QB playing after one week from surgery with a metal plate in his arm, do you have any QB on your roster with the balls to do the same? Keep three bowl wins in a row against San Diego State, ECU and Tulane in perspective.04-rock

Ok so using YOUR logic... The SBC is to CUSA as CUSA is to SEC.

I think CUSA and the SBC are equal on the field but keep it in perspective before spouting conference dominance... Your champ barely won against our 7th.

Our champ played with a injured starting QB playing at about 60% and still won. Would be more then happy to play your team next season in the NO Bowl.

I wouldnt mind playing ULL in the NOB, as MT and ULL have had some great games. Don't y'all ever want to play in a different bowl though?

Everyone that pays attention knows that ULL backed into the conference championship this year. There was an overload of parity in the SBC this season. We had 2 tie for champ and 4 tie for third. And oh yeah, had 7 teams with 6 wins or more.

Hold on USAJAG yes you beat us this year and we made no excuses but we didn't back into the championship we beat enough teams to win it you didn't. Yes we might have struggled at the end but we and A-State did what we were suppose to do to win a conference champioship. If you win it next year I promise all we will say is congrats and not try to be little your title. Its fine to say there were parity but if you're saying we backed in what does that say about A-State whom we beat that beat you.

We do but given the circumstances at the end of the year this was the best choice for the Cajuns. I don't feel that there were any other options better than the NOB. I personally don't like the Mobile option. Stadium to small (if we keep this crowd), metal bleachers makes for a very cold game. I know the administration would like to venture out next year if its an option but NOB and the city will do everything in there power to keep the Cajuns if we are bowl eligible. You can't blame them

Name a better bowl for us to play in. Seriously, go through the bowls and figure out which bowl would have an opening that would make financial sense for us to turn down an invite to New Orleans and attend that bowl instead.

The only one might be the texas bowl in Houston but that's about it if there's another one that would make sense for us

I really wish people had a clue how bowl selection really works when they say we should go to a better bowl. Especially in a year that had 9 teams sitting at home.

From a fan stand point, the NO Bowl is probably the best situation. The only thing that could remotely compete would be the Indy Bowl against a BCS team. Tulane might not have been a sexy team to play due to their recent history, but it made for a great game and a great atmosphere.

Can't beat that when it comes to bowl season.

At the point where we are right now, it makes sense to play in a bowl and make a little money instead of traveling and losing money. The only exception would be to play a B5 team if it was relatively close where the national recognition would offset the loss of revenue. The NO Bowl also worked well this year with the QB playing at about 70%. I don't think he could throw the ball long as I don't remember any long passes thrown the entire game. His longest was about a 20 yard pass to a RB on a wheel route.

Like middle Tennessee founded cusa or something. Been there 1 year man. I'd put top 3 sunbelt vs top 3 cusa any day and really like my chances.

Usajags needs to understand several things. South did not do well enough to get an invite to anything. You can keep bragging about your win, and I agree South dominated from start to finish, but in the end YOUR season was not good enough to go bowling, and ours was. In addition UL now stands in ninth place all time winning the same bowl three consecutive times.

I know it is a big butt hurt, and you want to throw a little fog around a very big trophy that one day you hope will reside on the USA campus. But for now NO. Have a great holiday.
