Atlantic 10's future.
Who should the Atlantic 10 go after if they lose Dayton, Richmond, St. Louis, and Virginia Commonwealth to the new Big East?

RE: Atlantic 10's future.
I could definitely see St. Louis and either Dayton or Richmond being invited by the Big East, but VCU is probably off the table because they are a state school.

I'd say the A10 would look towards Siena for sure, and possibly a school like Holy Cross. I would suggest Loyola (IL) or Detroit, but if the Midwestern schools are departing I believe the A10 would pursue programs along the eastern seaboard.

On a side note, with the resurgence of UMass basketball and the football program possibly reuniting with 1-AA title winning coach, Mark Whipple, the Minutemen are on the short list for the AAC. In my opinion, a much better fit than Navy football-only.
