1. FBS rules require 5 home game per season.
2. UAB hasn't won an OOC road game in 8 years. You want more of them?

When did it change from 4 home games to 5? Last time I checked, only 4 were required.

C-USA would not allow us to play all of our conference games on the road. It would be an unfair advantage to our opponents that would have 5 conference home games when some others only had 4 (and we had none.) Conferences are set up to provide measures of fairness and stability, which would be disrupted by this plan.

I'm all for thinking outside the box like this. I don't think this idea would work based on NCAA rules and conference by-laws, but don't give up. Your next idea might be the one we need.

That's the lie many wants us to believe, sir. That there's plenty of room for every football program in this state to flourish and be competitive. I think that's what "Attalla's" good friend, Scott Griffin told me once at "The Zone." a while back. Sure doesn't look like a level playing field to me.

Geez, want to run off UAB's remaining fans? Make them pony up for an all road schedule.

Okay, how is that ticket revenue helping us offset the cost of renting our stadium 5, 6, or 7 times a year?

I don't know, but the harder you make it for me to see my team in person, the less I'm going to see it in person, and the less of MY money UAB gets.
