Did Geron bulk up too much over the offseason or something? He seems to be really "jacked" this season, and it appears that his game may be affected (ie jump shot bricks, bullet passing). I know he's got to be leading the team in turnovers by a long shot.... and it seems like most of the turnovers have to do with him being too "amped up" or whatnot.

There seems to be very little finesse in his game this season. I didn't pick that up last year.

He is trying to do to much, trying to play at a NBA level. But let me say he made some NBA level plays but he needs to calm down and relax. He needs to let it come to him, not try to force the situation.

I don't think it is because of size, it's emotion. Seems like he is forcing things a bit. He played well tonight, but he also took some terrible shots and made some dumb plays.

I wonder if he is seeing the clock tick on his career. I'm guessing he's always had a vision of playing in the NBA and recognizes that if he doesn't have a great season it won't happen.

The hard part is that the more you force, the more scouts see immaturity and the more your stock falls. He needs to let the game come to him a bit more, pick his spots to be aggressive and continue to play great D.

Nothing wrong with Geron being bulked up... Dude is a BEAST... he just needs to chill out a bit because he committed 5 TOs tonight... but his DEFENSE is impeccable.

Might have effected his touch, but not his dunk!

Maybe next year we can say, "did Shaq and Austin bulk up too much during the offseason?"

I swear I thought I saw or heard somewhere where someone from the staff said regarding Shaq that they thought it was more important after last season for him to lose some "bad weight" he was carrying and now that he has lost the bad weight they can focus on getting him stronger and maybe putting back on some "good weight".

Shaq got the frame to be the next Patric Young of college basketball... And he is more talented than Young.

Funny they almost weight the same, but Young is jacked up.

Did Geron eat too many Cheerios this morning? Hell NO! Look for something else to ***** about. Stupid.

Geron played good I thought. Had some bad TO's but he was the first one of our guys to start going hard at the rim. He relentlessly attacked tonight.

CONFUSED AS TO THE CONNECTION BETWEEN "AMPED" TURNOVERS AND QUANTITY OF MUSCLE TISSUE. ONE IS MENTAL THE OTHER IS PHYSICAL.

geron had an outstanding game. it would have been ok. st. part II without the game he had. i wish he could hit the 3 ball.

I'd rather have geron at 100 mph than anyone else at at 60. Turnovers didn't kill us last night. Halfway reaching for defensive rebounds did. It's the only thing we didn't do well and a really good Florida team made us pay for it.

Yep...

That and doubling Young in the post...I don't think Young has enough offensive moves to beat you but we was doing a good job finding others off the double team
