UAB mentioned in Lunardi article
UAB gets mentioned at the end of his recent "Best Resumes" article. I take it as an insult.

"Special consideration: North Carolina, which has three enormous wins (Louisville, Michigan State and Kentucky), plus head-scratching losses to Belmont and UAB. At the end of the day, the former will increase in value, and the latter will be largely forgotten."

We also got mentioned in another article entitled "Question Mark Teams"

"One night it’s a near-loss to Holy Cross, the next a setback in Chapel Hill to Belmont. Then comes a stunning victory over the defending national champion Louisville Cardinals on a neutral court, followed by a brutal showing at UAB and then two more top-15 wins -- one against top-ranked Michigan State Spartans and another over the young, talented Kentucky Wildcats this past Saturday.

Wins against Michigan State, Louisville and North Carolina.
(Nice typo ESPN) Losses against Belmont and UAB."

RE: UAB mentioned in Lunardi article
Unless you are a UAB fan, it is a head scratcher that UNC lost to a team coming off two straight losing seasons and picked middle of the pack in their weak conference. Uab fans aren't surprised, but its not an insult for outsiders to be surprised.

Be honest. Going into the season uab fans didn't know what to expect from this team. New pointguard. A lot of new faces.

Everyone needs to stop looking for slights and insults and enjoy what could be a fun season.

I agree.

Who here in their heart-of-hearts thought we'd win that game back in October?

I thought all along this team should be a tourney team.

I may be in the minority, but that was my expectation coming into this season.

I thought we'd have a good showing against UNC, but I didn't necessarily count it as a sure fire W when I was looking over the schedule in the preseason.

All evaluations in November & December should be taken as you would early voting results on election day. "With 10% of the votes counted, the winner appears to be ______" like "DEWEY DEFEATS TRUMAN".

Looks like as of today a 25-5 record is what we need to be in at-large contention. A win in Baton Rouge might help this number.
