I live 80 miles from Tallahassee. Been down here almost 30 years. I coached many of these disadvantaged kids. I always get a giggle when my northern friends can't understand Ebonics. When my mother visits, she cant understand the TV weather girl. Actually, his dialect is pretty typical. However, the accusing girl's family is pressing to re-open the case. It was in the local Tallahassee news Friday. He had me fooled at first, but, yeah, he's a thug and time will bear this out. Charlie Ward was 180 degrees different.

Does that mean he's more accomplished? That's all a debate that depends on opinion. None of us will be in the nfl or win the heisman, but he's also unlikely to have a college degree or be an accountant, lawyer, etc. It's all different.

He's a 19 year old kid who accomplished something remarkable. Yet these internet warriors talk trash about him and call him a buffoon. Truly pathetic people. So he talks a little different, so what?

It's called overcoming things to accomplish things in life. I've heard millions of people list that as something they've overcome to do better things. It's because of that I went to college and did well. Hardly stupid.

Also, again I never said he was or wasn't more accomplished than I am.

I never questioned the kids football abilities. He obviously is a freak player.

But you don't necessarily have to be a genius in everyday life to be an excellent football player.

To me he didn't sound intelligent in multiple interviews. I live in the south and listen to people with a different dialect than I do, they still sound intelligent. He did not.

I stand by everything I said. I also never questioned his accomplishments on the football field.
