Yep, it's great to win big, and get to play the bench more.

Hewitt and Bussey ended up 5-25. Those two guys were supposed to be the main scoring threats for Georgia Southern.

We've really made great defensive strides since the Temple game. I think this team is better then the 18-2 team. Fun night in Bartow!

I hop so. That team was weak in big games and didnt even make the tourney.

This team is fun to watch. Whether it is grinding games out or blowing teams out. They are fun to watch and outside of the 2nd half against Temple have been pretty impressive throughout.

Great game for the Blazers. I think this home win streak will carry on for quite some time. I am interested to see how the team responds on the road against LSU if we can pull out the win it will be big for their confidence.

Our one weakness is back up point guard, hopefully Frazier can continue to play big minutes and stay out of foul trouble until Watts comes around.

Watts seems to be doing everything a point guard should, except scoring.

Watts has looked OK. He isn't really doing much of anything while on the court, including making bad mistakes. The latter is a good sign and the former can definitely be attributed to the fact we have many other scorers.

If Watts struggles, I think we can still be comfortable with Swing running the point for 5-10 minutes a game. It isn't ideal, but to win now it may be the best short term solution.

not so. Official attendance was over 3000 hearty souls. Late arriving crowd I guess. It was plenty loud and I did my part, as usual, in dog cussin the refs for awhile.

Exactly short term we can make due Im thinking long term. Watts may grow he is a freshman but he hasnt been shooting very well at all. He has been doing pretty good with everything else.

When is the last time we were successful with a PG lighting the score board up though? In recent years, our PG has been pass first, and it has worked out well except for QT. I think Watts will grow into his own in time. He probably isn't being asked to do much more than not screw up at this point.

This year... and most would argue that this years team and definitely next years is probably expected to do much more than what we have done the past 6 or 7 years.

Yeah i think it's a product of Watts just not being asked to do much at all. When you shoot one or twice a game, you don't exactly have many chances to score. He's not making mistakes, and doesn't look lost when hes out there. Those are good signs for a freshman. He's WAY down in the pecking order, so I'm not worried about him not scoring or shooting well just yet.

From what I have seen, Watts has been fine for what you would expect out of a freshman.
