RE: There are now only 2 schools in C-USA that have ever won it in football
Don't really see the point. There are only 2 teams left from the original CUSA and 5 from the last version. Seems to reason that most of the teams in the conference haven't won a title because they have never had a chance.

Pardon my confusion. "It" as in the Conference USA championship, I'm assuming. Far as I know, that leaves UAB out of the conversation, to my knowledge, that's a threshold the Blazers have yet to cross. Baseball, Softball, Basketball, yes. But, not the elusive "pigskin."

I simply pointed out that several members of CUSA have also won conf championships and everyone thinks its a slam? I would think it would be seen a compliment.

For CUSA football, there is one. USM. UAB came in for football a few later. Not that any of that matters. I understand what you are writing.

I noticed UH won head to head, but for some reason C-USA calls them co-champs at 4-1. Go figure.
(see page 5 here - http://grfx.cstv.com/photos/schools/c-us...k-2012.pdf )
It's the same way in 2002, Cincy beat TCU head to head but they are officially co-champions.
And 3 guesses which school beat Cincy' a few weeks later in a bowl game and the first 2 don't...........oh to hell with that...........North Texas took 17,000 traveling fans down to the Big Easy for a Tuesday night post-season game and the Mean Green would beat the Cincy' Bearcats in the 2002 NO's Bowl to the tune of 24-19.
I can't remember where TCU went bowling that year but I think that was also their last year in C-USA?

There are 3 UAB, USM, and Charlotte if you are talking about total athletics.

TCU would go on to beat Colorado State in the Liberty Bowl 17-3 (back when the LB was C-USA champs vs MWC champs.
They would remain in C-USA until SMU joined in 2005.

Yeah 07, took me a minute but I see what you were saying. I was just responding to some who have tried to diss CUSA by pointing out that most of the teams that won titles have left. That would seem to reason as most of the teams have left, which was your original point.

Yeah who TCU voted FOR inclusion, before bailing. Very similar to ECU insisting on Charlotte and ODU to round out the east and then saying goodbye.

Welcome to the new Sun Belt, same as the old Sun Belt.
Oh look, the peanut gallery.
If the MAC had two 10-win teams and no one was there to witness it, did it really happen?
Everything that happens in the MAC really happens. It just happens in FCS.

UAB and UTEP have not won any conference titles (C-USA) in football yet.
