Would you kick Notre Dame out fo... YES.

I said would you kick Notre... YES.

Listen, we have a decision coming up. Would you kick No... YES.

i would kick notre dame out for prarie view a&m, because the chances are likely a&m would be more cooperative with the rest of the conference than notre dame ever will be. if they want to change my opinion, they can start by joining the football conference instead of being independant, only playing 3 big east members a year and potentially stealing possible big east bowl slots despite not being a member in the football side of the conference.

Notre Dame is not going anywhere.

Then again, neither is Maryland.

Next scenario?

I think the BE made a couple mistakes when adding USF,Marquette and Depaul. The could have solved a lot of problems in adding Memphis,Kentucky,Maryland,Penn State and kept BC . Those four offer better basketball programs and they play football. Depaul and Marquette just average BE hoops programs. Dump Seton Hall and Providence and BE would be even stronger in football and hoops. You still got ND hoops and other sports except football and drop the football tie in.

That gets you:
1. Football title game w/o split
2. 16 hoops conference with just ND, St.John's, Villanova, and G'Town non-football.

IF BE had this kind of bold move, They could have had blown the doors off the ACC raid and been stronger than the NBA atlantic division.

Syracuse
St. John's
Villanova
G'Town
Rutgers
Penn State

complete lunatic
Ah yes. We all know it would have been so easy for the Big East to just add all of those teams in 2003. You, OUBOBCATJOHN, are a complete lunatic. Do you ever think before you post or do you just type the names of schools and move them around?

Unfortunately, ND can't be kicked out because they are not in the FB conference. We actually have a case of 2 separate conferences here: the BB conference (16 schools) and the FB conference (8 schools.)

The fact that the BB schools have a vote on full membership to any school precludes the expansion of the FB conference into a viable force. This dilemma will remain until there is an actual split. Divorces are hard, but occasionally they are necessary.

I would invite Maryland at the expense of repudiating the bowl inclusion of Notre Dame with all BEast bowl ties. In a New York minute, I would.

BC can die a slow death in the ACC...They wanted it, they got it. I take Maryland in a second, and definetely boot ND (at least I give them the choice, full membership or out).
