Hoops Hour 12/10
Anyone else going to Hoops Hour today? I was scheduled to, but may be caught up in work now. If I do go, I'll try to report anything interesting that is said. I hope we can receive a firmer update on Bradshaw and Chamberlain today.

RE: Hoops Hour 12/10
Hoop hour was a good one, although we learned Reece's return is uncertain (doesn't sound like he will be back for UK) and that tomorrow night's game has been postponed due to weather. Coach Byrd said Craig was back in practice yesterday at full speed, and would have played tomorrow night against Fairfield. I was really disappointed to hear that the game was postponed, especially since our next planned home game is January 2, which by then we will have not seen a game at the Curb for a full month. If we do not play Fairfield in December, I wish we would go ahead and cancel the game altogether. A win against Fairfield, one of the nation's worst teams, would be a burden to our RPI.

Great Hoop Hour. Great meal. If you haven't done one of these, I really highly recommend it. Byrd is so entertaining on the mic and to hear his insight over game tape and answers to questions from the audience is fantastic. For 10 bucks too, you can't beat it!

Here is my guess on Reece...I don't think we will see him until the beginning of conference play. I got more the feeling from Byrd that he is not very close to ready and him playing in the Kentucky game could be a big stretch. Byrd mentioned he will not be rushing him at all.

I agree that these lunches are awesome. Byrds humor is fantastic. It seems like I learn something new about basketball strategy every time I attend one of these.

Although he wants to win every game, I feel that Byrd is more interested in seeing Reece be fully healed for conference play.

As far as the Fairfield game, I have the feeling that if it is rescheduled, it will happen in February. We have two weeks in a row where we only play one game each week. That isn't inside information, just a guess.
